My Olympic Moments ... So far.

Just thought I'd share my favorite Olympic moment:

Mens' 4 x 100 Meter Freestyle

This was such a fun race to watch! Jason Lezak kicked butt! It was awesome!

Then there's my least favorite so far:

Nastia Liukin receives silver on the uneven bars.
Nastia was robbed. I think the scoring for gymnastics sucks. Not that I know enough about it to make that statement, but it was frustrating. Like I said, I don't know much about gymnastics, and even I thought Nastia's routine was better. Ah well.

I love all of your posts, keep it up. So I just mapquested (as if that's a word) it, and we are about 11 hours away. 739 miles to be exact. Looks like we were about an hour closer in Ohio, but that's still doable. I mean, your up for a road trip before you have this baby, right? LOL I want to get together with you!

The American guy 4x100 was amazing! That tie breaker with Luiken was crap. The Chinese got a lot of points they shouldn't have...Anyways, it was a good Olympics!

This is random, I know, but I think it's funny how IM lingo is getting into everyone's vocabulary. It's not just the IM prone, hormonal teenagers such as myself it's everyone!

My favorite Olympic moment was when my ROOMMATE won a SILVER medal!!!!

That was by far the best!

Wait, are you telling me that you seriously did not know that? She is not my roommate anymore, I moved out on my own in April, but we lived together for two years and she is one of my closest friends. Her name is Lacey Nymeyer. She swam in the 4x100 relay. It was her time in the prelim that put them into the finals, and they ended up scoring second place! It was incredible to watch someone I know so well in the olympics.

She is so humble though. I talked to her a few days ago and kept asking her questions about her medal. She responded with, "I don't know, I think it's in a box somewhere." Geez louise! I would sleep with it under my pillow at night if I were here.
