One of My Favorites...
I have a HUGE list of blogs that I read all the time.
Family...friends...etc...
There is one I read because it is awesome.
And because I'm obsessed.

Are You Tough Enough?
Jordan was always my favorite.
Donnie so fierce in this video!
Does this bring back memories for anyone but me?
Just get on the floor and do the New Kids' dance!

Tea Party!
We decided it was something we wanted to participate in, and so we made some signs and headed on down!
We heard a couple of speakers and saw some other interesting signs and then went home! It was well worth it!
I am so grateful to live in this country where we can express ourselves freely!
I think it is so sad though that some people consider me a hostile, racist, extremist because I participated in this 'Tea Party.' *sigh*
Eggy Days
We are lucky to have family close by. Ian's brother, Travis, and his family came over the day before Easter to have Easter dinner and an egg hunt with us.
Here is a shot of the cousins waiting for the daddies to hide the eggs! :)
Roo waiting patiently (and saying 'cheese!') for the hunt to begin!
On Easter itself we colored some eggs.
I saw in a magazine a new trick to coloring eggs and thought we'd try it.
You take 100% silk ties and cut the widest part off, tie that around a raw egg, and boil it for 15 mins.
The pattern transfers to the egg! Magic!
Checking out the 'tied' eggs...
I figured I'd go ahead and boil our eggs for the coloring at the same time...not exactly the best idea! :)
The color from the ties bled onto the white eggs...luckily it only turned them greyish, so they were still able to be colored.
This is a messy shot, but I wanted to include it because you can see the lovely yellow tulips that we discovered we have under our mailbox!
The 'tied' eggs are the ones with the fancy patterns. Ian took a couple of them that the pattern had only lightly transferred onto and dipped them into the coloring water to make 'em prettier.
We had a great time!
It's even more fun eating them. :)
Ethan has decided he doesn't like the middle, but he does like to 'hatch' them. :)
Tasty!

More Matchy-Matchy and A Jumping Gift
We decided to treat our family to a 'Tax Return Gift'. Not something we usually do, but hey...what are Sam's Club memberships for?!
Oooh...it's literally starting to take shape!
But, as you can see...they did actually partake of the jumping.
Well, Ethan did.
Notice how he lifts up his knees...that's his version of jumping as high as he can. :)
And Roo...well, he was quite unsure. :)
